Effective date: July 10, 2026
Blackjack Trainer ("the app") is a free blackjack basic-strategy practice trainer. This policy explains what data the app collects. The short version: none.
None. The app has no servers, no backend, and makes no network requests during normal use. We (the developer) never receive, see, or have access to anything you do in the app.
To let you pick up where you left off, the app stores the following locally on your device only, using standard on-device storage:
The app itself does not transmit this data to us, to the app stores, or to any third party. If you have device backup turned on in your phone's settings (Apple iCloud or Google's Android backup), your operating system may include this on-device app data in your own personal, encrypted backup and restore it when you set up a device or reinstall the app. That is a feature of your phone that you control in your device settings, the app has no access to those backups, and the data still never goes to us or anyone else. If you delete the app, the on-device copy is removed.
Blackjack Trainer is a practice and education tool. It involves no real money, no wagering, and no payouts anywhere in the app. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect any information from anyone, of any age, because the app does not collect information at all.
The app does not integrate any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking SDKs. No data is shared with any third party because no data is collected in the first place.
If this policy ever changes (for example, if a future version of the app adds an optional online feature), we will update this page and revise the effective date above. As of the effective date shown, this policy accurately describes the app in its entirety.
